Bicycles
For all cycle holidays in the Netherlands & Belgium we use fine bikes of good quality. They are provided with hand brakes, 7-speed gear and a pannier. For the tours in other countries we provide bikes equipped with more gears as the terrain may be more hilly.
We can also request an E-bike for you. It is important to handle the bike properly because the bike is a lot heavier due to the motor and battery.
On our family specials we can arrange a child bike, family tandem, child seat or trailer. There is a surcharge for these special bikes.
If you want to bring your own bicycle, please let us know. On our bike and boat tours we have to check if there is enough space on board for your bicycle.
Tour leaders
All Cycling & Sailing Holidays will be accompanied by an enthusiastic and multilingual tour leader. He/she guides you along the fixed itineraries, informs you and will invite you for some interesting city walks. In the evening after dinner, your tour leader will explain the bike route of the following day.
The tour leader will answer your questions and give you advice when asked for. The tour leader will try to solve any problem. In case of complaints or problems, please inform your tour leader.
He/She will try to solve the problem in consultation with us and the crew of the boat.
Your tour leader speaks Dutch, English and German. Some tour leaders also speak French, Italian or Spanish.
During our family tours, depending on the size of the group, there could be 2 tour leaders present.
